Not One But Two Awesome Shows

By suakatribe on Friday, November 16th, 2012

We know it’s been quiet for awhile, but now we have two exciting shows to announce: November 21 with Indonesian blues band GUGUN POWER TRIO at the Studio at Webster Hall and December 7 with NAVICULA at Lit Lounge.

The only Indonesian blues band to share the main stage with The Killers, Bon Jovi and Adam Ants at the Hard Rock Calling Festival in Hyde Park, London, has arrived in the U.S!

with Gugun Blues Trio, Studio at Webster Hall, 21 November 2012

On tour for their album “Solid Ground” released by guitar-driven New York record label Grooveyard Records, Gugun Power Trio is an ambassador of Indonesian modern music with fan base in Indonesia, the U.K and Ireland. Spreading their wings to the United States to share their awesome music and energetic performances, the band is ready to rock New York.

Tickets are $18, available online, from us, or at the door. It’s an early show, doors at 5:30 and we play at 7. More info at https://www.facebook.com/justin118sound . Kick off your turkey weekend with some seriously good music!

NAVICULA are in the USA from Bali to record, play shows, and raise awareness about deforestation and the destruction of the Indonesian Rainforest. Tickets for that show are $6, available at the door. First band plays at 9; we play around 10:30 followed by NAVICULA. This will be NAVICULA’s first show in NYC, so please come out and show them some love.

Hope to see you at one or both! Stay tuned for more….
